Funded Features

Many of the advanced features you find on our platform have been developed thanks to the contributions of our dedicated users. These enhancements are not only tailored to meet the unique needs of their research but are also made accessible to every CIAS user, fostering a community of shared innovation. Jordan Braciszewski, PhD

Henry Ford Health 

Dr. Braciszewski funded enhancements to CIAS' translation capabilities to support his research on strategies to mitigate substance use and other behavioral health difficulties in pediatric and adult populations across specialty and primary care settings. He has also recently funded the development of a 2-way text messaging feature, currently in progress.

Deborah Ellis, PhD

Wayne State University 

Crystal, CIAS' new human narrator was funded by Dr. Ellis with support from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities. Dr. Ellis, her team and the LT1 Community Advisory Board at Wayne State University designed Crystal for their intervention to help youth improve their diabetes health and diabetes-related family relationships.

Bo Wang PhD

UMass Chan Medical School

Improvements to the speed of Emmi's animations were funded by Dr. Wang, PI of the Thailand PrEP project. Dr. Wang's intervention aims to improve PrEP uptake and adherence in Thai young MSM.

Kirk von Sternberg, PhD

University of Austin Texas

With a grant from the CDC, Dr. von Sternberg and his team funded the module-based intervention settings for a program providing vaccine education to social workers. This initiative seeks to boost COVID-19 vaccine confidence, uptake, and access in populations with low vaccination rates and high vulnerability.
